Through the summer, Chase gets to pick what we study each week (or month) in Science. This week (and last) was Outer Space. These are our pictures so far.
Chase made a star gazer to find constellations at night.
He searched our neighborhood for meteorite dust. And, found some (possibly:).
We watched a documentary (on YouTube) about Apollo 11, and enjoyed some Neapolitan Astronaut Ice Cream. Granny let us borrow her Seattle Times Newspapers, that she saved from the moon landing. Super cool! And, that covered our history for the week:)! Yay!
Chase got this cool Nasa Lab Bag from Olyn’s birthday party. There were some test tubes inside, filled with fun little experiments- including these little Alien Eggs, that Chase got to grow.
We ended the week constructing our own little Vortex Generator. Chase was able to do this demonstration unassisted. Proud, but a little sad about that.
