We finished all of our work this week- which is impressive considering we have all been sick. The weather sucked most of this week anyways. Being stuck inside when it’s freezing out, is kinda lovely.
Chase started his new Language Arts and Social Studies lessons today. He loved the Social Studies work- he did great! However, he had a bad attitude towards LA- we stopped and took a break (mostly to prevent me from strangling him). He jumped on the trampoline while I made him a sandwich. After lunch, we tried again. He didn’t love the work- I didn’t care. He did it, he did it well, and he dropped the attitude.
Sawyer played in that Sensory Bin all week. He Loves it!! I’m giving it a few more days, or until he loses interest- then revamping it.
It was a good week and we all worked together well. Chase and Sawyer are helping each other, sharing, and playing together whenever they are not working. It’s been so nice and peaceful (as peaceful as life can be with Sawyer).
I will be better by Monday. I can’t take another week at home. Not to mention how many people we flaked on this week- a few people more than once. We miss our friends.
I love homeschooling. There is so much freedom in it. No more rushing from place to place- we have time to do everything.
