It is time to start a more consistent program for Sawyer. It will look much like what I did with Chase. Sawyer is frustrated. He wants to do every thing Chase can do, and when he can’t he gets frustrated and feels like he’s failed (before he has really even tried). Sawyer is my baby- I treat him like one, therefore he still acts like one. I was recently told this by a professional, with a very judgmental tone. It was hard to swallow. But, I want Sawyer to thrive the way Chase has- and I know he can. It will take more work, and there will be struggle- but we are doing this. It is on. I am excited to see what Sawyer can do.
The boys are spending the next few days with Granny and Papa, I am using this time (part of it anyway, the other part with Chris:) to plan out some simple curriculum and a schedule for Sawyer. I am hoping I can find some things on the boys blog, things I did with Chase. I am going to the curriculum store (where I have store credit:) to purchase a few things that will help us along. This will be good. I am excited! It will be fun to have both boys working side by side and learning together! Super! Super excited!!!!
