We now have every Thursday and Friday free!!! We have decided to make Thursday our Jammy Day, and spend Fridays in the Forest (or at least outdoors enjoying nature). This week we spent Thursday reading, watching a movie (Old Yeller), and we even had time for playing with friends. It was relaxing day and we were able to catch up on all of our work for the week. This left Friday open for an outing to Kelsey Creek Farm Park. We spent the day walking the trails, playing on the playground, visiting the animals, making leaf and bark rubbings, and working in our Nature Journals. Chase had so much fun making observations and drawing pictures in his journal- he told me this is his favorite class! I had to agree!
